The Middle Road Vision

The vision – given to me whilst in prayer to YHVH for guidance as to how to structure the Kehilah ​

​“In the vision I was flying just above the ground and I was aware of dense New Zealand bush on all sides, it was not clear where I was, but looking down into this bush I saw a long narrow clearing. As the Ruach HaKodesh lead me down into the clearing, I saw a narrow roughly hewn gravel path stretching out in front of me. Some distance ahead there was a bright misty light into which the path disappeared and all along the sides of the path the bush had also become misty. There was an overwhelming sense of peace as I moved along the path. Slowly the Ruach lifted me above the scene so that I was looking down again. Below me I saw a small group of men and women walking arm-inarm along the path. The small group were enveloped in the same bright misty light. As I looked, faces appeared out of the bushes on both sides of the path. People jumped out onto the path in front of the small group, some jeering and cursing, trying to block the way and then leaping back into the bush. Others came out and stood on the edge of the path in silence with questioning expressions on their faces. As the small group passed, these bystanders moved in behind the group and as I turned and looked behind, a crowd was forming along the path. The crowd was following the small group toward the bright misty light ahead.”

I prayed to YHVH .... “please reveal the meaning of the vision”..... and He said:

“The bright misty light that I saw ahead was the “Sh’khinah” which was carving the path through the bush. The small group walking along the path, were God’s chosen servants that had been filled with the “Sh’khinah” and they were walking in His Way. The faces that appeared from the bush were to the right Jews and to the left Gentiles. Many were leaping out from both sides to try to block the way of God’s chosen, but the “Sh’khinah” prevented them from harming the small group. The other people who came and stood along the path were those coming out of the Synagogues and Churches and questioning what this new path was all about. As the small group passed by there was no exchange of words not even eye contact, but the bystanders just quietly moved in behind and started to follow, because their hearts were for YHVH.” 

God went on to show me that the small group of faithful servants were just walking on the path, they had no part in beating back the bush nor forming of the path. All they had to do was just follow the “Sh’khinah” as it alone developed the path. Neither the mockers nor the bystanders could look at the “Sh’khinah”, but only the small group as it passed by. Finally, I asked God “where is the path leading?” He replied with yet another vision:-

​“This time I saw a multi-lane highway stretching from Auckland southward. All along the route in large and small towns there were groups of the followers who had been the bystanders in the first vision. Large trucks were thundering out of Auckland heading south with both material and spiritual resources for the followers along the highway and God said.... “This is my purpose for Talmidei Yeshua. Like your forefather Avraham, this small group is leading the believers forward, because they are walking by faith without seeing far ahead. They are also following the “Sh’khinah” as God paves the way to greater things.”

After the visions ended, the following words kept going through my mind as I pondered what God had just revealed.
“....Not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of God....”
